For some reason, JoeMusic wasn’t that interested in watching tonight’s show, but did anyway. Why? Because I do it for the children.
First up was a couple that apparently met on the American Idol message boards and hooked up. Blech. 
And another “my daddy’s dead story”. After a while, JoeMusic just becomes numb to it all. But London is easy on the eyes for sure. Eh. 
JoeMusic pines for Skater Girl from Season 1. 
Bottom line: they somehow found 23 potential idols. Who says Simon, Paula and Randy don’t work hard?

Last.fm now streams songs full-length

As of today, you can play full-length tracks and entire albums for free on the Last.fm website!
This is excellent news, and shows that CBS is moving in the right direction with their acquisition. Full-length tracks are now available in the US, UK, and Germany, with other countries coming at a later date. During this initial public beta period, each track can be played up to 3 times for free before a notice appears telling you about their upcoming subscription service, which will give you the ability of unlimited plays and “some other useful things”. JoeMusic is intrigued. They also plan to bring full-length tracks to the desktop client at a later date as well. This would put them in competition with Rhapsody and Zune, which further validates the model and puts more pressure on Apple to stop being a stick in the mud.
