Surprise Dismissal on American Idol? Not Really.

So Carly Smithson is booted off of AI.  Good.  She’s a great singer and performer, but let’s not forget she’s already blown through a million dollar contract.  She’ll get another opportunity, I’m sure.  But does she deserve a bite of the apple that is American Idol?  Nope.
