How We Do

JoeMusic takes pride in reviewing music with you in mind.  Here’s the dealio:

JoeMusic reviews albums by listening to each and every track over the course of at least a week, maybe two or three.  We’re not one of those high-minded magazines that toss off a couple of sentences and throw up a couple of stars.  Nope, we know that an album is only as good as the songs that make it up and when you can buy singles for $1.99 why suffer through 35 minutes of yodeling for the 3:30 of pure bliss?

 Now, it’s not sitting in a darkened room and analyzing every nuance of the track and deciphering what the artist was trying to express.  No, JoeMusic listens to it on the road, at the coffee shop, on the stereo — everywhere and anywhere, before sitting down and deciding whether it’s worth the digital bits that make it up.  Only after reviewing each track does the album itself receive a score, from A+ to F.  We then tabulate all of the tracks to come up with a result for the entire album and write up a review for it.  That way, if we give an album a C+ you know exactly why.  It’s not rocket science, and you deserve it.  You’re Welcome.
